Key information about the church...

When & where does the church meet?

We broadcast our services online every Sunday at 11am on the Crown Church, Inverness Facebook page. (click here for link)

We are currently operating two weekly services of worship, on Sundays at 9:30 and 11am.

Free parking is available in the car park of Crown Primary School next door.

The church is located at the corner of Kingsmills Road and Midmills Road, near the upper entrance to the Eastgate Centre in town. You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect when I visit the church?

We hope you will receive a warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go.
The 9:30 service typically lasts about 45 minutes with an informal style and meets in a very relaxed atmosphere.  Children are free to move around, play with the toys and games which are available and generally relax.

The 11:00 service typically lasts about 1 hour and follows a traditional style of worship.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served between the 2 services. Those attending the 9:30 service, stay to chat and hear each other's news. Many of those attending the 11 o'clock service come early to enjoy tea/coffee and a chat with those who have been attending the earlier service. We also serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the 11 o'clock service. Church office bearers and others are around on these occasions and are willing to meet anyone new, answer questions et cetera.

What happens to the kids at church?

Children are very welcome at Crown church. Our hall is used by a Breakfast Club in the morning before school starts and the "Corner Club" use the same space in the afternoons when school has finished.

We also host a parent and toddler group on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for children up to the age of 3. Everyone is welcome. No need to book and no charge!

In addition, we run SNAC (Saturday Night at Crown) evenings once a month on Saturdays between 5 and 7 p.m. Again, everyone is welcome, no need to book and no charge!

We also maintain a WhatsApp group for parents of children in church to be able to keep in touch with each other and with what's happening in church - see one of the team to find out more!

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

We encourage you to join us for refreshments after any services which is a great way to get to meet people and find out more.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?

Please feel free to contact us.
