Crown Community

We love to be involved in what's going on in the local community. It's great to be a part of a vibrant and caring community and involved in supporting some great initiatives going on locally. Would you like to celebrate the life of a loved one who is no longer with us? See below for details!

Always in Our Hearts

Due to the restrictions of lockdown, this year has been particularly difficult for people who have been bereaved. Many people feel that they have been unable to mark the death of loved ones in ways that they would wish, or have the space for ritual in their bereavement.

Always In Our Hearts offers us an opportunity to use our memories, words, and creativity to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died. It is their hope that the crafted hearts project, online service, and digital In Memoriam book will help to provide both personal and public ways of remembering across the Highlands.

Online Service

Highland Hospice will be holding their Annual Time to Remember Absent Friends and Family service online this year. The service will be shared on the Highland Hospice YouTube channel at 11am on Saturday 7th November.

Please do join for this service, which will include some poems, a short reflection and prayers, and some music to evoke special memories of those who are always in our hearts.

For more information about this or to get involved in any part of the wonderful Always in our Hearts project; head over to the Highland Hospice website.
