Union with Old High St Stephens 

At its meeting on Wednesday 27th August, our Kirk Session approved the draft basis of union which is the document setting out the terms upon which the union between Old High St Stephens and Crown is to take place at the beginning of next year. Please find a copy of this document attached. It has also been approved by the Kirk Session at OHSS. 
Both Kirk Sessions have also agreed to put the matter to a vote at congregational meetings to be held in both churches on the same morning.
Our congregational meeting will take place immediately after the 11 o’clock service on Sunday 14th September.

The Kirk Session has also agreed to hold a soup and sandwich lunch as a fundraiser for “Launchpad” on the same morning. Accordingly, after the meeting and vote which will take place in the sanctuary, everyone will be invited to move to the upper hall for soup and sandwiches and the votes will be counted and the result announced upstairs whenever it is known.
