Organisations and Hall lets
Our building is a busy place! As well as all that we run for the church and community, we also host and partner with other organisations too. If you would like information about our accommodation, prices and how to book, click here.
Here's a list of a few of the groups which meet in our Church Halls throughout the week.
Young Crown
Young Crown is a charity run out of Crown Church for the benefit of children, families, schools and the community. To find out more about the project and all of the activities associated, please visit the Young Crown website. Young Crown runs some of the outreach groups on this page including:
Little Crowns toddler groups
Meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00-11:30am. A fun and friendly atmosphere where wee ones can enjoy the toys and games; their biggies can enjoy the tea, coffee and cake. Dairy free and free-from items are catered for those who need.

Boys’ Brigade
Crown Church is home to the 3rd Inverness Boys’ Brigade Company.
The Company is open to all boys from 5 to 18 years old of any faith and background.
Our work is split into age groups as follows:
Anchor Boys - for Boys aged 5 to 8 years (6-7pm)
Junior Section - for Boys aged 8 to 11 years (7:15-8:30pm)
Company Section - for Boys aged 11 to 18 years (7:15-10:00pm)
Our programmes are balanced to provide every child and young person opportunities to take part in a wide range of activities, learn new skills and develop existing skills.
The Company also takes part in local Battalion events ranging from Craft Afternoons, Sports, Swimming and Painting Competitions. For the older age group we also participate in National Competitions, including football, badminton and quizzes, as well as having an Annual Camp and activity weekend.
The Boys’ Brigade is great fun and also an easy way to meet with friends and even make new ones! Our usual meeting night is a Friday.

Crown Corner Club
Crown Corner Club began operating in October 2001 to provide out of school care for 40 children of the local community and to assist working parents with child-care. The club also provides holiday child-care. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure and stimulating child friendly environment for primary school age children, that allows them to express themselves in all areas of play by giving them opportunities in social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional play, a facility where they can relax and feel comfortable. We are always open to new suggestions and ideas from the children and parents on ways to improve and enhance the day to day running of the club.
Staff
Our staff have several years' experience of working with children of various ages, and have relevant child-care qualifications. All staff have First Aid certificates in Child Care and have undertaken Child Protection training.
Club Hours
The club hours in term-time are 3.00pm to 5.45pm.
Holiday hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm full day & 8.30 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5.30 pm half day.
Fees
After school session £11.00 per day
Holiday fees £25 per full day or £15 per half day
Registration fee of £10 per annum
Activities
There is a very wide range of activities on offer at the club for every age range and the club also organises various people with different interests to visit the club. During holiday club various fun outings are organised.
Snacks
We provide healthy and nutritious snacks along with fresh fruit and vegetables provided daily.
